# Guides

Task guides for the parts of Qaldy you use after the first app: a backend with tables and rules, static sites, your team, the spending cap and budgets, keys, the audit log, the exposure check and the phone.

The [Get started](https://docs.qaldy.com/getting-started/) pages take you to a first app. These guides cover what you reach for next.

## Build and run

:::cards
- [Backend: tables and a REST API](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/backend/)
  Tables, keys for a browser or a server, and a data API for your own app. [[Preview]]
- [Who can see which rows](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/backend-access/)
  A table is private until a rule says otherwise. Rules are plain sentences, with a tester. [[Preview]]
- [Sites](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/sites/)
  Upload a static site or a built single-page app and share it like an app. [[Preview]]
- [Logs, alerts and the weekly digest](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/observe/)
  See what your apps do, hear about problems first, and share a status page.
- [Import from n8n, Zapier or Make](https://docs.qaldy.com/connectors/import/)
  Bring an export, see what maps, and review the switched-off result before it runs. [[Preview]]

## People and money

:::cards
- [Your team: roles, invites and handover](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/team/)
  Invite people, give an agency access that ends on a date, let a company domain join, and hand the workspace over.
- [Spending cap, budgets and the shield](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/spending-cap/)
  What stops at the cap, a budget for one app or person, and a shield for shared links. [[Beta]]
- [What it costs, before and after](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/costs/)
  Price on hover, a quote before a schedule, and why the bill changed. [[Preview]]
:::

## Trust and safety

:::cards
- [The exposure check before a public link](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/exposure-check/)
  A throwaway copy is questioned like a stranger would before anyone can open it with a link. [[Beta]]
- [Stream, export and verify the audit log](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/audit-export/)
  Keep your own copy, and check it without trusting us. [[Beta]]
- [Replace a key, set an expiry, press the panic button](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/keys-and-panic/)
  Change a key without stopping apps, and revoke everything in one step. [[Beta]]
- [On your phone](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/phone/)
  Install the console, decide approvals with large buttons, and get a notification. [[Preview]]

Anything that depends on a service the pilot does not run yet says so at the top of its page.
