# Plans and the spending cap Pricing is per workspace, never per seat, and viewers are free. The proposed plans, what the hard spending cap does today, and what is still mock. URL: https://docs.qaldy.com/concepts/pricing/ :::mock Billing is mock The plans below are a **proposal**. In the pilot nothing is metered into a real invoice and nothing is charged: changing a plan records the change and prints a sample invoice. The numbers are read from the same rate card the console uses, so they are the ones you see when you click Plan and usage. ::: ## How it is priced - **Per workspace**, not per seat. A plan includes a number of builders and apps; extra builders are sold separately on the larger plans. **People who only look are free.** - **What ran, on top.** Runs, app requests, storage and AI credits come with an allowance. Beyond it you buy a step of more, if the cap allows. Qaldy does not bill each run: it bills a plan plus any capacity you add. - **No surprises.** A hard spending cap is on by default. ## The plans | Plan | Per month (USD · EUR · KZT) | Builders | Apps | Runs a month | App requests a month | AI credits a month | |---|---|---|---|---|---|---| | Free | Free | 1 | 3 | 1,000 | 100,000 | 200 | | Maker | $20 · €18 · ₸8,990 | 1 | 15 | 10,000 | 1,000,000 | 400 | | Team | $99 · €89 · ₸44,990 | 5 (+$15 each) | 50 | 100,000 | 5,000,000 | 2,000 | | Business | $499 · €449 · ₸219,990 | 20 (+$15 each) | 250 | 1,000,000 | 25,000,000 | 8,000 | | Sovereign | By contract | By contract | By contract | 5,000,000 | 100,000,000 | 15,000 | Prices can be shown in dollars, euros or tenge; the rate card holds a price in each. The Sovereign plan is by contract. "Apps" is how many apps the workspace may have, "Builders" how many people may build, and the rest are monthly allowances. ## The spending cap [[Beta]] The cap is the most a workspace can spend each month on capacity beyond its plan. An owner sets the amount; **hard cap** is on by default, and alerts are on at 50, 75, 90 and 100 percent of what each meter may use. With the hard cap on, three allowances are held, at the places where the work happens: | When it is used up | What happens | |---|---| | **App requests** | The app shows a calm page (HTTP 503 with `Retry-After`) until the month renews or you add capacity. | | **Runs** | New runs wait up to 24 hours and start in order when there is room, then are dropped with a notice. Nothing is lost silently. | | **AI credits** | New AI-assisted builds pause. Templates still install. | Storage, data out and CPU time are estimates or not measured, and the console says "Not measured yet" instead of a zero. With the hard cap off nothing is held; alerts still go out. :::note What "Beta" means here Every rule above is built into the API, the gate and the runtime host and is covered by tests, including a replay of a crossing that must stay under 15 seconds. None of it has been timed on the live pilot, so "about 15 seconds" is a design number, not a measurement. Webhook and Telegram cap alerts are [[Planned]]; email works. ::: The details, with the shield that protects shared apps from a flood, per-app and per-person budgets, and what a held run looks like, are in [Spending cap, budgets and the shield](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/spending-cap/). ## See what it costs - **Plan and usage** in the console: plan cards, an estimator (small team, typical, large), the meters, the cap controls and a sample invoice. - **Price on hover**, a **quote before you switch a schedule on**, and **Why did my bill change?** in Plan and usage. See [What it costs, before and after](https://docs.qaldy.com/guides/costs/). [[Preview]] - **Capacity**: the resource pool and what the workspace uses. - [Plan routes](https://docs.qaldy.com/reference/api/plan/) and [capacity routes](https://docs.qaldy.com/reference/api/capacity/) in the API. - The MCP tools `get_capacity` and `estimate_cost` read the same numbers; `estimate_cost` answers "what would this workload cost a month?" from the rate card. ## Invoices in tenge [[Preview]] A workspace owner can make an invoice and, for a finished month, an act of completed work in tenge, in Russian, Kazakh or English, with the customer's BIN or IIN and a VAT line. Until a seller legal entity is configured, every document says it is **not a tax document**. See [Invoices and acts](https://docs.qaldy.com/kazakhstan/invoices/). :::note Honest status Billing is mock: no card is taken and no charge is made. Prices are a proposal. We change this page the day any of it changes. :::
